The Carolina Hurricanes are soaking up their time with the Stanley Cup and savoring their championship victory, and the taste is as sweet as candy for player Seth Jarvis.<\/p>\n
The team posted a photo to social media of the cup filled up with Nerds Gummy Clusters, which is Jarvis’ favorite candy.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“It had to be done,” the team posted Thursday. The photo came with the caption: “Jarvy’s bathroom got an upgrade.”<\/p>\n
The candy is Jarvis’\u00a0good luck charm and favorite candy. He’s admitted to keeping candy around his house, including in the bathroom.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The official Nerds account responded saying, “This is the only way we\u2019ll be eating clusters from now on.”<\/p>\n
It was his friends who first disclosed Jarvis’ sweet tooth<\/a>. He was even caught about a year ago smuggling a box of candy from a fan into his uniform on the ice before a game.<\/a><\/p>\n Jarvis made his love of the candy public after the team’s Stanley Cup win.<\/a>\u00a0Now, he gets to keep some stashed in Lord Stanley’s Cup.<\/p>\n \u201cYou never know when you want a little candy,” he told WRAL’s Pat Welter back in May. “So I got Nerds in the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, obviously, couch upstairs. Basically any room you can think of, there\u2019s probably some candy sneaking around in there.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cI have a different variety for every room. Different vibe for the room, different candy.
