Sony Pictures has premiered a new TV spot for its upcoming \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d film, the commercial airing in Asian markets.<\/p>\n

The new spot teases some of the major fighting set pieces Spider-Man gets into, including a big one with Hulk in the smashed-out ruins of a building.<\/p>\n

The story begins a while after we last caught up with our friendly neighbourhood hero and Peter Parker is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves.<\/p>\n

Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he\u2019s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city \u2014 a full-time Spider-Man \u2014 but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.<\/p>\n

Tom Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker\/Spider-Man in the film, which is being helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton (\u201cWonder Man,\u201d \u201cShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings\u201d).<\/p>\n

Also set are Zendaya as Michelle \u2018MJ\u2019 Jones-Watson, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle\/Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner\/Hulk, Michael Mando as Mac Gargan\/Scorpion, Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln\/Tombstone, Sadie Sink, Liza Col\u00f3n-Zayas and Tramell Tillman.<\/p>\n
