Fulham are seemingly back in for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin after submitting a new bid, perhaps impacting their summer pursuit of Arsenal\u2019s Reiss Nelson.\"LONDON,Photo by Ryan Pierse\/Getty Images<\/p>\n

Fabrizio Romano<\/a> reports that Fulham have submitted a new formal offer to sign Brazilian winger Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk.<\/p>\n

The bid is reportedly worth \u20ac37m plus add-ons, with Shakhtar insisting on a \u20ac50m fee for the player. Evidently, there\u2019s still some work to be done to reach a compromise.<\/p>\n

Yet the news of a new bid does suggest that Fulham are still hopeful of a positive conclusion, despite recent claims that a deal looked unlikely.<\/p>\n

Ryan Taylor had reported<\/a> for the Mirror last week that Fulham were continuing talks with Arsenal for Reiss Nelson<\/a> after their initial bid for Kevin was rejected.<\/p>\n

Taylor wrote that Kevin wasn\u2019t particularly attracted to joining Fulham, but perhaps Fulham\u2019s second bid indicates they believe otherwise.<\/p>\n

Various outlets have reported that Fulham\u2019s offer for Nelson is an initial loan deal. They clearly have the money for a permanent transfer, as evidenced by their move for Kevin, but it\u2019s likely they don\u2019t want to commit a substantial fee for Nelson after his injury problems last season.<\/p>\n

Nelson has performed well in very limited minutes for Arsenal during pre-season so far, but with the addition of Noni Madueke<\/a> to Mikel Arteta\u2019s<\/a> squad it doesn\u2019t seem as though he\u2019s going to continue to get chances while the window is still open.<\/p>\n
