SAN ANTONIO \u2013 A San Antonio Spurs player stirred the pot of rumors on Friday relating to where NBA superstar LeBron James will sign this offseason, according to ESPN<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Luke Kornet, part-time writer and full-time center for the Spurs, posted “LEAKED: Spurs\u2019 Voice Memo Sent to Lebron James<\/a>,” on his Medium Blog.<\/p>\n

Kornet has used his blog page to share opinions on various topics, including his idea to cancel the Atlanta Hawks \u201cMagic City Night,\u201d<\/a> \u2014 a themed night for a Hawks home game where the team would promote \u201cAtlanta\u2019s premier strip club.\u201d Kornet\u2019s post lead to the themed night\u2019s cancelation.<\/p>\n

Kornet\u2019s pen has power, and he used it to potentially sway the four time NBA champion to consider San Antonio as a destination to Race For Seis.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The blog post featured a link to a YouTube video<\/a> where Kornet is heard leaving a voice message to recruit James and join the Spurs.<\/p>\n

KSAT has reached out to the Spurs to confirm if Kornet posted this video.<\/p>\n

James\u2019 agent Rich Paul has asked all teams interested in signing James in free agency to send a voice memo pitch, ESPN<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n

In Kornet\u2019s two minute pitch, he re-introduced himself and shared an invitation to San Antonio.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey Lebron. Mr. James…It\u2019s Luke Kornet, number seven of the San Antonio Spurs. You yelled at me a little bit last week or last year,\u201d Kornet said in the video.<\/p>\n

Kornet mentioned living state tax-free, Seaworld, La Panader\u00eda and as benefits of calling San Antonio home.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Kornet jokingly described himself as \u201ca generational player\u201d in the pitch. Victor Wembanyama<\/a> was mentioned as another draw to play for the Spurs.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, you\u2019re chasing number five, and we\u2019ve got five (championships). So, looking for number six for us. So, we\u2019re kind of all in the same ballpark,\u201d Kornet said.<\/p>\n

James, who turns 42 in December, has his eyes on multiple teams except for the Los Angeles Lakers.<\/p>\n

James\u2019 agent Rich Paul gave some clues<\/a> on the \u201cGame Over<\/a>\u201d podcast that he shares with Max Kellerman \u2014 indicating by showing a whiteboard filled with scrawled-out possibilities that James is looking at a slew of teams, including and probably not limited to Philadelphia, Cleveland, Miami, Minnesota, Denver, Golden State, San Antonio, Dallas, Boston and New York.<\/p>\n
