Alejandro Garnacho has not joined up with the Chelsea<\/a> squad for pre-season as the Premier League club actively look to sell the winger.<\/p>\n

Chelsea<\/a> began pre-season training on Thursday for those members of the first-team squad not at the World Cup, but Garnacho was absent from the sessions at Cobham.<\/p>\n

The situation is reflective of the 21-year-old’s uncertain future at Stamford Bridge following an underwhelming season after his \u00a340m move from Manchester United<\/a> on a seven-year contract.<\/p>\n

Chelsea<\/a> value Garnacho in the \u00a343m (50m Euros) region but will only entertain permanent offers<\/a>, despite reports of loan interest from Serie A club Roma. <\/p>\n

Premier League, European and clubs in Saudi Arabia are also believed to have shown an interest, with talks open and advancing with several parties. Manchester United<\/a> are due 10% of any sale. <\/p>\n

Garnacho scored just one Premier League goal in 24 matches, albeit with 10 appearances as a substitute, having struggled to start regularly under Enzo Maresca and then Liam Rosenior. <\/p>\n

Any exit is part of a reshaping of Chelsea<\/a>‘s squad this summer for new manager Xabi Alonso. <\/p>\n

Chelsea<\/a> have completed the signings of full-back Marco Palestra<\/a> from Atalanta for \u00a347m and winger Geovany Quenda<\/a> from Sporting for \u00a340m.<\/p>\n

The club have also made two significant sales, with left-back Marc Cucurella<\/a> joining Real Madrid for \u00a352m and winger Tyrique George<\/a> moving to Everton<\/a> for a fee that could rise to \u00a324m.<\/p>\n

The Blues are targeting moves for a centre-back, with Crystal Palace’s Maxence Lacroix among their targets<\/a>, while Rayo Vallecano left-back Pep Chavarria is in talks to move to west London.<\/a> <\/p>\n

There are also a substantial number of outgoings expected, with Trevoh Chalobah’s entourage exploring moves to Italian clubs Inter Milan and Como.<\/p>\n
