Britney Spears dismissed any criticism after she put on a wild show in Los Angeles traffic<\/a> Thursday.<\/p>\n

The singer, 44, was snapped standing tall above traffic while riding in a black Mercedes SUV on the 101 Freeway near Studio City in pics obtained by Page Six. <\/p>\n

On Sunday, Spears posted a pic of herself dramatically lying on top of the roof of her car with her arms spread wide on Instagram<\/a>, telling her followers she was \u201carching to the lords.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat people see is two seconds of insanity of me arching me to the lords !!!!!\u201d she wrote. \u201cyet the days and hours of my reality !!!!!! Nothing is what it seems.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cPsss I think I need to come out of the roof quite a bit more \ud83d\ude44\ud83d\ude33\ud83e\udd26\u200d\u2640\ufe0f\ud83d\ude02.\u201d<\/p>\n

It appeared to be business as usual for Spears Friday after her freeway antics made headlines. She posted a video of herself dancing in a glittery pink minidress<\/a> on her Instagram, playfully sticking out her tongue.<\/p>\n

Pics of Spears from Thursday show her throwing her head back passionately and stretching her arms across the roof of the vehicle she was riding in, as the traffic around her continued.<\/p>\n

A source told the Daily Mail that the \u201cToxic\u201d singer went through the sunroof \u201cfor a quick moment\u201d to check out the traffic, since the cars were at a stop.<\/p>\n

Spears has been under scrutiny since she was arrested in March for DUI <\/a>in California. The arrest came a few months after she was\u00a0seen driving erratically<\/a>\u00a0following a night out with a friend.<\/p>\n

She voluntarily\u00a0checked herself into rehab<\/a>\u00a0in April, and\u00a0exited the facility<\/a>\u00a0after less than a month.<\/p>\n
