{"id":760375,"date":"2026-07-13T13:08:15","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T13:08:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/760375\/"},"modified":"2026-07-13T13:08:15","modified_gmt":"2026-07-13T13:08:15","slug":"health-officials-warn-of-measles-exposure-at-phl-airport-on-july-4th-nbc10-philadelphia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/760375\/","title":{"rendered":"Health officials warn of measles exposure at PHL Airport on July 4th \u2013 NBC10 Philadelphia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A person with measles traveled through PHL Airport on July 4, the Philadelphia Department of Public Health announced on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The measles exposure occurred at Terminal A, B and C between 7:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m., officials said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Measles is a highly contagious virus that spreads through the air when infected people cough, sneeze, or talk,&#8221; Philly health officials said in the release. &#8220;People who aren\u2019t protected against measles can get the virus up to two hours after someone else with measles left the same room or airspace.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Early symptoms of measles include cough, fever, red, watery eyes and then a rash, officials said.
