The horrific car crash that resulted in devastating injuries for ESPN NFL draft analyst Matt Miller<\/a> was captured on video.<\/p>\n

In the footage, which was obtained by The California Post on Tuesday, Miller\u2019s blue 2023 Ford Bronco could be seen traveling on a Jasper County, Mo. roadway at around 3:50 p.m. on June 17 when it suddenly veered over the centerline and collided with an oncoming truck.<\/p>\n

The semi appeared to try to move out of the way, but when it didn\u2019t maneuver quickly enough, both vehicles collided<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Miller\u2019s Bronco, according to pictures of the crash site that were also obtained by The Post on Tuesday, skidded several yards before it came to a halt in a patch of grass.<\/p>\n

Missouri State Highway Patrol officials wrote in a crash report that Miller had been properly wearing a seatbelt but \u201cduring the crash and due to the extensive damage\u201d on his car, the belt was cut and Miller was ejected.<\/p>\n

A witness, officials wrote in the report, described the scene as terrifying.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was leaving my sister\u2019s house,\u201d the witness said. \u201cI might have been maybe 100 yards behind. I witnessed the Bronco just a hard swerve into the semi\u2019s lane. The semi tried to swerve. It made contact. I haven\u2019t ever seen a car explode like that. I ran to the Bronco and there was no one in the vehicle. I heard groaning behind me.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw a man laying in the grass. I called 911.\u201d<\/p>\n

Miller suffered gruesome injuries, including \u201ca compound fracture of his left femur, a shattered left kneecap\u201d and \u201cmultiple broken ribs,\u201d according to a GoFundMe his family set up<\/a> in his honor following the accident. He also \u201clost a significant amount of blood\u201d and had to have his left arm amputated.<\/p>\n

The MSHP report stated the probable contributing circumstance of the wreck was \u201cimproper lane usage\/change\u201d by Miller. It was listed as \u201cunknown\u201d whether or not alcohol or marijuana use was involved.<\/p>\n

The driver of the truck was not injured and not under the influence of alcohol or marijuana, the MSHP report added.<\/p>\n

Miller has made a few public statements in the wake of the accident, most recently writing on X on July 10 that he had undergone several successful surgeries and that he was \u201cstepping away indefinitely\u201d from his role at ESPN in order to \u201cbest focus on my healing and recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n

Miller, though, has faced scrutiny in the weeks following the crash \u2014 as several social media users have come forward to claim he withheld prize money and\/or charitable payments<\/a> from them.<\/p>\n

The Missouri Attorney General\u2019s Office has opened an investigation into the claims, Awful Announcing\u00a0revealed<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n
