Bethenny Frankel roasted Hamptons hotspots<\/a> as \u201cboring\u201d and clogged with traffic Wednesday \u2014 saying\u00a0 she prefers a less-hyped enclave closer to the city.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me the juice is not worth the squeeze going all the way out to Montauk or Amagansett \u2014 [you] couldn\u2019t give me a house there,\u201d the 55-year-old former \u201cReal Housewives of New York City\u201d star<\/a> said on Facebook<\/a> Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was speaking to someone yesterday who lives in Amagansett and she said she doesn\u2019t go into the town of Amagansett because the traffic is so bad, same thing with East Hampton,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Bethenny Frankel called out the Hamptons for being \u201cboring\u201d and clogged with traffic, preferring to be closer to the city. Bethenny Frankel \/ Facebook<\/p>\n

Even the wealthiest folks can\u2019t avoid the traffic nightmare, she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBillionaires can fly in \u2014 but\u00a0they can\u2019t f-ing fly to the supermarket,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Instead, Frankel prefers the town of Westhampton, which is a roughly 1 hour and 45 minute drive from the Big Apple and less on-the-radar.<\/p>\n

\u201cWesthampton\u2026.is a cute town , like it\u2019s my favorite town, it\u2019s on the beach and there are farm stands,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can get in and out of the city, you can get to and from airports and you don\u2019t have to be suffocated and a prisoner in your home due to traffic.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cIt can be an hour and a half to travel within the Hamptons. Ain\u2019t nobody got time for that. For me, I\u2019m betting on all the places closest to the city.\u201d<\/p>\n

Locals told The Post that Westhampton has gotten more popular in recent years.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s getting the recognition that it definitely deserves,\u201d Westhampton pizzaiolo Michael Brunetti said. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a beautiful windmill now, so people are going to think when they come to town that they\u2019re in Bridgehampton \u2014 except for the three-hour drive they saved.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnything west of the Shinnecock Canal wasn\u2019t really considered the Hamptons. But now I\u2019m meeting a lot of folks that are venturing out here.\u201d<\/p>\n
