\nClaire, Florence, Fond du Lac, Forest, Grant, Green, Green Lake,
\nIowa, Iron, Jackson, Jefferson, Juneau, Kenosha, Kewaunee, La
\nCrosse, Lafayette, Langlade, Lincoln, Manitowoc, Marathon,
\nMarinette, Marquette, Menominee, Milwaukee, Monroe, Oconto,
\nOneida, Outagamie, Ozaukee, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Portage, Price,
\nRacine, Richland, Rock, Rusk, Sauk, Sawyer, Shawano, Sheboygan,
\nSt. Croix, Taylor, Trempealeau, Vernon, Vilas, Walworth,
\nWashburn, Washington, Waukesha, Waupaca, Waushara, Winnebago,

WHAT…The PM2.5 AQI (24-hour average) is expected to reach the
\nUnhealthy for Sensitive Groups (Orange) to Very Unhealthy
\n(Purple) level. Hazardous (Maroon) NowCast AQI (1-hour average)
\nwill be possible.<\/p>\n

WHEN…From noon Tuesday until noon Thursday.<\/p>\n
Precautionary\/Preparedness Actions:<\/p>\n
For Very Unhealthy (Purple) AQI:
\nSensitive groups: Avoid all physical activity outdoors.
\nReschedule to a time when air quality is better or move
\nactivities indoors.
\nPeople with asthma: Follow your asthma action plan and keep
\nquick-relief medicine handy.
\nPeople with heart disease: Symptoms such as palpitations,
\nshortness of breath, or unusual fatigue may indicate a serious
\nproblem. If you have any of these, contact your health care
\nprovider.
\nEveryone else: Limit outdoor physical activity. Go indoors if you
\nhave symptoms.<\/p>\n
For Unhealthy (Red) AQI:
\nSensitive groups: Consider rescheduling or moving all activities
\ninside. Go inside if you have symptoms.
\nPeople with asthma: Follow your asthma action plan and keep
\nquick-relief medicine handy.
\nPeople with heart disease: Symptoms such as palpitations,
\nshortness of breath, or unusual fatigue may indicate a serious
\nproblem. If you have any of these, contact your health care
\nprovider.
\nEveryone else: Keep outdoor activities shorter and less intense.
\nGo inside if you have symptoms.<\/p>\n
For Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (Orange) AQI:
\nSensitive groups: Make outdoor activities shorter and less
\nintense. It is OK to be active outdoors but take more breaks.
\nWatch for symptoms such as coughing or shortness of breath.
\nPeople with asthma: Follow your asthma action plan and keep quick
\nrelief medicine handy.
\nPeople with heart disease: Symptoms such as palpitations,
\nshortness of breath, or unusual fatigue may indicate a serious
\nproblem. If you have any of these, contact your health care

\nLIKELY BE EXTENDED FOR AT LEAST SOME PORTION OF THE STATE BEYOND
\nNOON THURSDAY.<\/p>\n
Smoke from wildfires in Minnesota and Ontario will enter northern
\nWI between 8 p.m. and midnight Tuesday night. The smoke will push
\nsouth, approximately reaching an Eau Claire to Sheboygan line by
\nnoon Wednesday. Smoke will continue south-southwest,
\napproximately reaching a La Crosse to Janesville line by midnight
\nWednesday night. Statewide impacts will be possible by 6 a.m.
\nThursday. The heaviest smoke impacts, including the potential for
\nHazardous (Maroon) NowCast AQI, are expected across northwest
\nWisconsin, especially in communities along Lake Superior. Lake
\nenhanced smoke concentrations will also be possible for
\ncommunities near Lake Michigan.<\/p>\n
