Some residents have been told to shelter in place because floodwaters have made it impossible to reach higher ground.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Kerr County <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/kerrcountytexas\/posts\/pfbid0fd3gb5gK6X1ebHQcdZRPfYjk8ypBR7qLmW79MyX4H7tmPdfbHVdpjb1CANDhFm9dl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/kerrcountytexas\/posts\/pfbid0fd3gb5gK6X1ebHQcdZRPfYjk8ypBR7qLmW79MyX4H7tmPdfbHVdpjb1CANDhFm9dl\">posted on Facebook<\/a> that this is a \u201cflash flood emergency for Hunt and Kerrville.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Several emergency situations were reported across the area:<\/p>\n<p>Rescues are underway in Hunt.<\/p>\n<p>The old Heart O\u2019 the Hills camp property was evacuated to higher ground.<\/p>\n<p>At the Flaming Arrow area, floodwaters rose to about five feet above the bridge\u2019s normal flood stage.
