The previously announced cast includes Dennis Quaid, Chase Stokes, Michael Rooker, Matt Barr, and Maggie Grace.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThunder Road\u00a0is the multi-generational saga of the fictional Whitlock family, whose legacy in stock car racing is as deep as the family\u2019s ties to the Southern hill country roots that shaped them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tQuaid stars as racing legend Duane Whitlock, aka The Wrecking Ball, a towering figure who built a racing empire from a legacy of moonshine runs and dirt tracks and refuses to let it die. With ruthless competitors who will stop at nothing to dethrone and destroy them, the Whitlocks are a blue-collar dynasty at the edge of extinction \u2013 and the old king is fighting to hold onto the crown. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDuchovny will play Cassie Whitlock, the youngest and most aggressive of the Whitlock siblings. Cassie has inherited Duane\u2019s skill on the track and his insatiable will to win. Fiery, rebellious, and convinced that she belongs on the Daytona Speedway, she never hesitates to remind her old-school dynastic father how talented a driver she is \u2014 all the while engaging in dangerous liaisons of her own that could jeopardize the Whitlock racing legacy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tFusco is set to executive produce alongside showrunner Taylor Elmore, Cliff Roberts with Syndicate Entertainment, Mark L. Smith, and NASCAR Studio\u2019s Tim Clark and John Dahl. Gladys Cheng serves as producer. The show is produced in association with NASCAR.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDuchovny can currently be seen in Peacock\u2019s The Five-Star Weekend, playing the daughter of Chlo\u00eb Sevigny\u2019s character opposite Jennifer Garner, Regina Hall, D\u2019Arcy Carden, and Gemma Chan. West previously starred in the Netflix limited series Painkiller for director Pete Berg, and in Hulu\u2019s Saint X for director Dee Rees. She also appeared opposite Jim Gaffigan in Colin West\u2019s independent feature Linoleum.
