Retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady slapped YouTuber and WWE star Logan Paul in the face while on stage at Fanatics Fest in New York City on Friday.<\/p>\n
The two engaged in a seemingly heated verbal altercation before Brady let Paul have it with a swift slap. New York Knicks star\u00a0Karl-Anthony Town, who stood behind the two onstage as they argued, stepped between Brady and Paul when the argument turned physical.<\/p>\n
Brady and Paul were quickly escorted off-stage. It has yet to be confirmed whether the incident was staged, either as a preview for a surprise Brady WWE debut or as extra clout and hype as Paul, who is recovering from a torn tricep, said he is ready to return<\/a> to the ring.<\/p>\n The seven-time Super Bowl champ shared footage of the altercation on X, calling Paul a \u201cdork\u201d:<\/p>\n The Fanatics Fest crowd recorded footage of the incident from multiple different angles:<\/p>\n In one clip, after the slap, Paul can be heard telling someone to \u201cget your boy\u201d repeatedly before adding, \u201cTake him out of here, bro. He\u2019s going to get himself hurt. I swear to God.\u201d<\/p>\n Paul also shared the footage to his X account<\/a>, writing, \u201cThis happened bc I was roasting Tom for beating him in flag football. And he tries to smack me ?? Horrible example for the kids. Aura -100 + Blocked. With a torn tricep.\u201d<\/p>\n While Paul\u2019s team did not win the championship at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, they did defeat Brady\u2019s team. The footballer seemed to jokingly mock<\/a> Paul, tossing the ball at him, during the game in March.<\/p>\n A month prior to the Flag Football Classic, Brady appeared on an episode of Paul\u2019s podcast,\u00a0Impulsive.\u00a0During the conversation<\/a>, Brady said he was worried Paul wouldn\u2019t be able to keep up, calling him a \u201cgood athlete\u201d while the other players are on \u201canother level.\u201d<\/p>\n Paul immediately became defensive.<\/p>\n \u201cThis guy\u2019s insane,\u201d he said. \u201cThe audacity of Tom Brady.
