Sony\u2019s announced its PS Plus Extra<\/a> and PS Plus Premium<\/a> lineups for the remainder of July, and it\u2019s a decent lineup in my opinion<\/p>\n

The star of the show is Ubisoft\u2019s surprisingly solid movie tie-in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora<\/a>, which recently got a third-person mode if you\u2019re not a fan of first-person shooting.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a rock-solid release to lead a largely solid lineup, which also includes Koei Tecmo\u2019s PS5 console exclusive Rise of the Ronin<\/a> and the retro throwback Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita\u2019s Rewind<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I always loved the old 16-bit Power Rangers games on the Super Nintendo, so I\u2019ve had this game on my wishlist for honestly what feels like an eternity.<\/p>\n

The retro enthusiast in me is also hyped to replay Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy<\/a>, a really fun AA physics action game I loved on my PS2.<\/p>\n

And this month we\u2019re actually getting two PS Plus Premium classics: the abovementioned Midway affair will be joined by Quantic Dream\u2019s uneven but ambitious Fahrenheit<\/a> (or Indigo Prophecy<\/a>). Even if you only play the opening mission, I recommend it.<\/p>\n

The remaining games on PS Plus Extra this month include Firefighting Simulator: Ignite<\/a>, Dying Light<\/a>, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector<\/a>, and Snow Bros. Wonderland<\/a>. So, your mileage may vary, but it\u2019s not a bad offering at all.<\/p>\n
