Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce\u2019s larger-than-life wedding<\/a> apparently fooled guests in more ways than one<\/a> as one guest revealed how guests initially believed Adam Sandler\u2019s appearance to officiate \u201cwas a joke.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAdam Sandler officiated it,\u201d American Century Investments CEO Jonathan Thomas, who knows Kelce \u201cfairly well,\u201d told hosts Sean Russo and Downtown Josh Brown on the Thursday episode of the \u201cCompound and Friends\u201d podcast.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cHe came down, everybody laughed and thought it was a joke at first.\u201d<\/p>\n

Guests at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce\u2019s wedding initially believed Adam Sandler\u2019s appearance as officiant \u201cwas a joke,\u201d according to attendee Jonathan Thomas (seen above). The Compound\/YouTube<\/p>\n

\u201cHe came down, everybody laughed and thought it was a joke at first,\u201d Thomas recalled of Sandler (pictured above at the \u201cJay Kelly\u201d red carpet in 2025) making his entrance. FilmMagic<\/p>\n

\u201cHe actually spoke for 20 or 30 minutes, vacillated between funny, very sincere, sang a few things. There are two things that I remember distinctly, one is in your typical vows the officiator says, \u2018For rich or for poor,\u2019 and he said, \u2018You\u2019re not going to have to worry about that.’\u201d Thomas recalled, referencing Swift\u2019s reported $2 billion net worth<\/a> and Kelce\u2019s wealth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The businessman told the host that the \u201cSNL\u201d alum left the couple with a message to: \u201cKiss each other every day, in the morning, at night after dinner, just kiss often.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thomas went on to remember how the couple brought their group of gathered guests to tears with their personally written vows. <\/p>\n

\u201cTravis went first with his vows,\u201d Thomas shared. \u201cHe probably spoke for 30 minutes and I don\u2019t want to violate his privacy but I was crying, which I was trying to hold back. He made himself unbelievably vulnerable. And then I look around and there\u2019s all these 300-pound men from the football business crying as well, so I felt really comfortable to let go on it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then Taylor went and she also wrote her own vows. She probably spoke for 30 minutes and it was poetic. It was really well done,\u201d he continued. <\/p>\n

Other guests in attendance who also couldn\u2019t help but shed a few tears in the audience included Kyle and Kristin Juszczyk.<\/p>\n

\u201cI definitely teared up,\u201d Kyle exclusively told Page Six<\/a> on Thursday night. \u201cTheir vows were so good, and it was hard not to.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI cry at every single wedding,\u201d Kristin added. \u201cLike, I don\u2019t think there\u2019s ever been a wedding that I haven\u2019t cried at.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple looked back on the \u201clegendary\u201d wedding, describing it as the \u201cbest night ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, truly, truly legendary.\u201d the 35-year-old San Francisco 49ers player said,<\/p>\n
