{"id":771332,"date":"2026-07-19T02:57:12","date_gmt":"2026-07-19T02:57:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/771332\/"},"modified":"2026-07-19T02:57:12","modified_gmt":"2026-07-19T02:57:12","slug":"waymo-says-san-francisco-service-has-resumed-after-one-hour-pause","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/771332\/","title":{"rendered":"Waymo says San Francisco service has resumed after one-hour pause"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"speakable-summary\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Waymo says robotaxi service has resumed after it made  \u201ctemporary adjustments\u201d in San Francisco amidst a power outage that appears to have <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/news\/bayarea\/article\/sf-outage-leaves-roughly-7k-pg-e-customers-22350686.php\" target=\"_blank\">affected around 7,000 PG&amp;E customers<\/a> in the city.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to a screenshot <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ethanmckanna\/status\/2078546210529677784?s=46&amp;t=dDcpMIMYg6fdPePSTT9k6w\">posted on social media<\/a>, Waymo told SF customers that service was \u201ctemporarily paused\u201d and that \u201cfreeway routes are unavailable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When TechCrunch reached out to the Alphabet-owned company for comment, a spokesperson said in a statement, \u201cWe are making temporary adjustments to our service while we monitor local conditions.
