\n\tFox<\/a> Entertainment Global (FEG) has hired Fifth Season<\/a>\u2019s Liz Tang<\/a> to run UK content and acquisitions, less than a year after her former boss Prentiss Fraser<\/a> made the jump to FEG. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn the newly-created role based in London, Tang will oversee content management\u00a0for the distribution division of\u00a0Fox Entertainment<\/a> in the UK along with acquiring shows from producers to add to FEG\u2019s global distribution slate. Fox runs Gordon Ramsay\u2019s Studio Ramsay Global out of the UK<\/a> and sells the indie\u2019s Next Level Chef, Next Level Baker and Gordon Ramsay\u2019s Secret Service. Also out of the UK, FEG sells the upcoming Best Medicine, which is based on hit UK series Doc Martin, and biblical drama The Faithful.<\/p>\n

\n\tTang has spent the past five years at Severance studio Fifth Season (formerly Endeavor), leading a global team that acquired and\u00a0financed scripted and unscripted projects for the TV distribution\u00a0business. Prior to Fifth Season, Tang was a buyer for channels including Sky UK, BBC Studios,\u00a0Channel 5\u00a0and Discovery Networks International.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLiz is an accomplished and well-loved content executive with deep relationships across the industry and an exceptional eye for commercially and creatively compelling\u00a0programming,\u201d said FEG President Fraser. \u201cHer experience with the production community and across acquisitions and programming with\u00a0both\u00a0broadcasters\/platforms\u00a0and global distribution\u00a0companies, will be invaluable in\u00a0supporting Fox\u2019s expanding slate.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tFraser joined FEG earlier this year<\/a> to run global TV distribution after a lengthy spell at Fifth Season working closely with Tang. The outfit returned to the global sales game three years back <\/a>and has been aggressive in the market since. It sells the likes of the Joel McHale-led\u00a0Animal Control\u00a0and Dan Harmon\u2019s animated series\u00a0Krapopolis\u00a0to international broadcasters and streamers, while developing shows like Emily VanCamp\u2019s Prejudice<\/a> via its licensing deal with Canada\u2019s Bell Media. <\/p>\n
