The retired tennis champion and his wife of five years are officially parents of two after welcoming their second baby<\/a> \u00a0Miquel\u00a0in the first week of August, his rep confirmed to People<\/a>.<\/p>\n And while further details about the latest addition to the Nadal-Perell\u00f3 family have yet to be reveled, according to multiple reports, Miquel was named after Mery\u2019s father who died in 2023 after a brief illness.<\/p>\n Rafael, 39, and Mery, 37\u2014who tied the knot in 2019\u2014are also parents to 2-year-old Rafael Jr.\u00a0<\/p>\n And when the King of Clay retired from tennis in October after a storied 23-year career, Rafael made sure to share how much the support of his wife had meant to him.<\/p>\n \u201cMy family is everything to me,\u201d Rafael said in the emotional announcement video<\/a>\u00a0in October. \u201cMy wife Mery, we\u2019ve been together for 19 years.
