BOZEMAN, Mont. \u2014 Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks announced more hoot-owl fishing restrictions set to take effect Wednesday, which will prohibit fishing from 2 p.m. to midnight every day.<\/p>\n
Officials say the restrictions are designed to protect fish when environmental stressors and angling pressure are both high.<\/p>\n
High water temperatures along with low flows and angling can start disease outbreaks, reduced spawning success, decreased growth rates and increased mortality.<\/p>\n

FWP released the following list of restrictions that will start July 22:<\/p>\n
