The incident occurred near Racetrack Road in Washington. Officials said the tanker truck crashed and went over the hillside as a result of the incident. Multiple South Strabane fire units, alongside Pennsylvania State Police, responded to the scene. As of 6 p.m., all lanes in both directions were reopened to traffic.
