The former Machine Gun Kelly<\/a>, now mgk<\/a>, fired back at a fan who asked about his romantic life on Sunday\u2019s \u201cWatch What Happens Live.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cKyle P. wants to know if there\u2019s any truth to the rumor you and Sydney Sweeney<\/a> were more than just friends?\u201d host Andy Cohen<\/a> asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cKyle P., shut up, dude,\u201d mgk answered as he shook his head.<\/p>\n

The former Grammy nominee\u2019s answer was emphatic, but it wasn\u2019t a direct \u201cno.\u201d Don\u2019t you hate that?<\/p>\n

Last fall, mgk reportedly split with<\/a> Megan Fox, who was expecting a child with him at the time (they now co-parent their infant daughter). Sweeney had reportedly ended an engagement to producer Jonathan Davino in March. (She confirmed the breakup<\/a> later.)<\/p>\n

People reported<\/a> that Sweeney and mgk have been friends for years. Both had parts in the 2019 movie \u201cBig Time Adolescence,\u201d and Sweeney also starred in the 2021 mgk-directed musical drama \u201cDownfalls High.\u201d (He uses his birth name Colson Baker on his film works.)<\/p>\n
