Liv Morgan won the women\u2019s world championship <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cagesideseats.com\/wwe\/435162\/liv-morgan-does-full-dance-number-at-wrestlemania-42-then-wins-title\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">nearly 100 days ago<\/a> at WrestleMania 42, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cagesideseats.com\/wwe\/451398\/liv-morgan-zero-title-defenses-into-57-day-reign-not-a-bad-thing\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">has yet to defend it<\/a> on Raw, SmackDown, or PLE. This is likely related to the fact that former champion Stephanie Vaquer has been out of action since losing the belt at WrestleMania. Liv\u2019s streak should come to an end on the weekend of August 1 &amp; 2 at SummerSlam, as she is currently scheduled to put the belt on the line against Queen IYO SKY.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">WWE Women\u2019s Champion Rhea Ripley\u2019s situation isn\u2019t any better, as she has not been able to wrestle at all since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cagesideseats.com\/wwe\/459097\/rheai-ripley-injury-update-wwe-summerslam\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">suffering a torn meniscus<\/a> in early June. As a result, WWE <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cagesideseats.com\/wwe\/460859\/interim-champions-in-wrestling-history-pros-cons-rhea-ripley\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">created an interim women\u2019s championship<\/a> that will be awarded to the winner of a 5-woman ladder match at SummerSlam. Jade Cargill and United States Champion Tiffany Stratton have already qualified for that ladder match, with another spot going to either Charlotte Flair or Nia Jax.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">An interim title match was obviously not part of WWE\u2019s original plan for its biggest party of the summer. According to a new report today from <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/wrestlevotes\" rel=\"nofollow\">WrestleVotes Radio<\/a>, those original plans included a one-on-one match between Flair and Cargill, as well as Stratton defending the U.S. title in her home state of Minnesota. Neither of those ideas are happening now as a result of Rhea\u2019s injury. <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Cory_Hays407\/status\/2080363038931079171\" rel=\"nofollow\">Cory Hays of False Finish<\/a> adds that WWE planned for Blake Monroe to be Tiffy Time\u2019s opponent. It\u2019s worth pointing out that Monroe has also yet to wrestle on Raw, SmackDown or PLE since joining the main roster after WrestleMania 42.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Do you think a 5-woman interim title ladder match is a reasonable SummerSlam replacement for Flair vs. Cargill, Stratton vs. Monroe, and a (presumed) Ripley title defense?
