The deal terms were not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2019\/04\/17\/co-star-astrology-app-seed-round\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Co-Star<\/a>, which reportedly has about 4.3 million monthly active users, is mostly used to help people determine their astrological birth charts, which they can then share with other friends on the app. Co-Star uses both AI and humans to write horoscopes, compatibility assessments, and other advice based on a user\u2019s astrological information.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Midjourney seems to be casting a wide net when it comes its product lineup. The company seems almost synonymous with the <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2024\/05\/29\/from-viggle-to-midjourney-discord-is-an-unlikely-foundation-for-the-genai-boom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Discord server<\/a> where users can generate text and images \u2014 there is no stand-alone Midjourney app \u2014 yet the AI lab is also trying to build a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.midjourney.com\/medical\" target=\"_blank\">medical<\/a> arm and spa. Why not throw an astrology app in the mix?<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Co-Star\u2019s team of two dozen employees has joined Midjourney as part of the acquisition.
