5 people stabbed in Old Sacramento; teenage suspect arrested<\/p>\n

Sacramento Police Department said five men were stabbed early Saturday morning near Front Street and K street.<\/p>\n

An 18-year-old man is in custody after five men were stabbed in Old Sacramento early Saturday morning, police said. <\/p>\n

The Sacramento Police Department said officers responded to Front Street and K Street for reports of an assault with a weapon just after 3 a.m.<\/p>\n

At the scene, officers found three men with at least one stab wound each. They were transported to a local hospital. Later, two more men were located at a hospital with stab wounds police said are related to this incident.<\/p>\n

All five victims were stable as of Saturday afternoon, according to police. <\/p>\n

Police said Ezekiel Griffis, a Sacramento man and person of interest in the investigation, was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on assault charges. <\/p>\n

The department said Griffis was among three people of interest who were detained after the stabbing. The other two detainees have been released. <\/p>\n

The stabbing investigation is still ongoing. <\/p>\n
