The 2026 WNBA <\/a>All-Star Game delivered one of the most entertaining showcases in recent league history, with Caitlin Clark helping Team Spoon defeat Paige Bueckers’ Team Coop 129-122 in front of a packed arena.<\/p>\n

Clark once again showcased the deep shooting range that has become her trademark, finishing the exhibition with 17 points, including several long-range three-pointers that energized the crowd.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the postgame press conference, Clark was asked whether her relationship with league officials had improved amid ongoing discussions surrounding the WNBA’s collective bargaining agreement and broader issues affecting the league.<\/p>\n

“Me and Adam have a great relationship\u2026 I know he was here tonight supporting us, so that was great to see,” Clark said.<\/p>\n

She also stressed that maintaining open dialogue remains essential.<\/p>\n

“And we can just probably continue to improve in that area. Communication and relationships solve a lot of issues and a lot of problems,” she added.<\/p>\n

Silver has become an increasingly visible figure around the WNBA as the league continues experiencing record attendance, television ratings, sponsorship growth and franchise expansion.<\/p>\n

Although the NBA and WNBA operate separately, Silver has frequently attended major league events and publicly discussed issues affecting women’s basketball.<\/p>\n

“The WNBA has so much to be proud of. And I feel like we’re always so focused on the negative when we can be focused on the positive. WNBA leadership has created a lot of positives for this league too, and that should be celebrated. And Cathy has also brought a lot to this league and helped us reach new milestones, but there’s always room for improvement,” she added.<\/p>\n
