\n Tom Holland<\/a>, star of \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d and \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day,\u201d has revealed that some of his previous movies have been awkward to promote.\n <\/p>\n

\n Speaking on the \u201cDish\u201d podcast<\/a> on Wednesday, Holland told hosts Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett that he has enjoyed doing press for his two latest blockbusters.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cI\u2019m absolutely loving it. When you\u2019re doing press for movies that you\u2019re really proud of, it\u2019s really easy,\u201d he said.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cBecause when they ask you questions about why should people go and watch this movie, you\u2019re not lying to anyone. You really feel like people should go and see it,\u201d he added.\n <\/p>\n

\n This hasn\u2019t always been the case, Holland explained.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cI\u2019ve had experiences before when people say, \u2018Why should you see this movie?\u2019 And in the back of your mind, you\u2019re like, \u2018You shouldn\u2019t, because it\u2019s sh*t,\u2019\u201d he said.\n <\/p>\n

\n This year is a big one for Holland, as he plays lead roles in both \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d and the latest \u201cSpider-Man\u201d movie, which is due for release in the United States on Friday.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cIt\u2019s felt really like a bit of a victory lap, to be honest,\u201d Holland said. \u201cI\u2019ve really enjoyed it. I\u2019m super-proud of both of the films.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n Holland also revealed that he has enjoyed picking up tips on dealing with the media from his \u201cOdyssey\u201d co-star Anne Hathaway.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cI\u2019ve had the pleasure of sitting down with Anne Hathaway for the last three days and doing press with her,\u201d he said. \u201cFor me, that\u2019s been an awesome learning experience. She\u2019s such a pro.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n Holland has also had a significant year on a personal level, with rumors in March that he and his long-term girlfriend, Zendaya<\/a>, had married in secret.\n <\/p>\n

\n The pair were rumored to have sparked up a relationship after hitting it off on the set of \u201cSpider-Man: Homecoming\u201d in 2017, but they didn\u2019t confirm they were together until 2021.\n <\/p>\n
