She then jumped out of the home\u2019s second-story window and was paralyzed from the waist down in the fall.Patrick Clancy was the first witness to take the stand.The trial is expected to last several weeks.<\/p>\n<p>A jury heard opening statements Monday in the trial of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcboston.com\/news\/local\/lindsay-clancy-murder-trial\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lindsay Clancy<\/a>, the Duxbury, Massachusetts, mom accused of killing her three children in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors argue that Clancy, a former labor and delivery nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital, planned the killings and bears full responsibility for their deaths.
