Subpotent thyroid medication could leave patients under-treated, potentially allowing hypothyroid symptoms \u2014 such as fatigue, weight gain, cold sensitivity and cognitive difficulties \u2014 to persist or worsen. The recall is ongoing and no press release has been issued by the firm. Notification to consignees and the public was made by letter. Patients who have questions about whether their prescription is affected should check the lot number on their medication packaging and consult their pharmacist or physician.<\/p>\n
