\n\tBebe Rexha<\/a> appeared on The Tonight Show<\/a> to perform a rousing medley of her recent singles \u201cNew Religion\u201d and \u201cSad Girls.\u201d The pop singer was joined by a group of dancers for the club-ready performance, which featured a clip of \u201cNew Religion\u201d before focusing on \u201cSad Girls.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n \n\tRexha dropped \u201cSad Girls,\u201d a collaboration with David Guetta<\/a>, in May. Both tracks appear on Rexha\u2019s most recent album, Dirty Blonde, which marks her debut release as\u00a0an independent artist<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cNew Religion,\u201d released in March, was notably her first single on her own label. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201c\u2018Sad Girls\u2019 is for anyone who has ever been on a dance floor with a broken heart and refused to let it win,\u201d Rexha shared in a statement. \u201cYou\u2019re not okay, but you\u2019re still dancing and showing up for yourself. Her Instagram post announcing the news included a tearful video recorded earlier this year, in which she reacted to the devastating news and expressed uncertainty about what was next.\u00a0After parting with Warner, Rexha signed a deal with Empire, an independent distribution company, that also offers some label and publishing services.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cDirty Blonde became so much more monumental to me than I ever expected,\u201d Rexha said of the LP. \u201cMaking this album independently reminded me why I fell in love with music in the first place. I had the freedom to trust my instincts, take risks and create something that feels completely mine.
