I have reported that Maxey is not just one of LeBron&#8217;s favorite players in the league, but one of his favorite people. And so he was certainly instrumental in giving LeBron someone he already had a pre-established friendship with. I&#8217;m told Joel had several extensive conversations with LeBron. <a data-ylk=\"slk:And if he&#039;s the elder statesman in Philly, it&#039;s his town.
