\n\tOne of the crossovers that hasn\u2019t materialized yet in the Spiderverse is Tom Holland<\/a>\u2018s Spider-Man<\/a> and Tom Hardy<\/a>\u2018s Venom<\/a>, but Amy Pascal<\/a> still has hope.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile promoting Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Amy Pascal and Marvel\u2019s Kevin Feige<\/a> were asked how close they were to making the crossover happen.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt would be great, let\u2019s put it that way,\u201d Pascal said on the Happy Sad Confused<\/a> podcast.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen Josh Horowitz asked the producer whether there was still hope for the two characters and their actors to share the screen, Feige intervened and added, \u201cAlways have hope.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPascal then added, \u201cI have hope. We have hope.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAlthough a future on-screen meetup between Hardy and Holland is not confirmed, Pascal did confirm that an animated Venom movie is still in the works. Earlier this year, Deadline reported Final Destination Bloodlines duo Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein were set to direct the animated movie for Sony.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tIn 2025, Hardy revealed that a crossover with Holland\u2019s Spider-Man was close to happening, with the actor saying on The Discourse Podcast<\/a>, \u201cWe got as close as I could possibly imagine getting, apart from doing a film together, which I would have loved to have done because that just means so much fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHardy noted that he was interested in working out the crossover as it was \u201cfundamentally it would be for the kids,\u201d adding, \u201cBecause, you know, as much as adults love superhero films, as you can tell by the box office when they\u2019re successful, I think I\u2019m constantly reminded by children how important these characters are. And they don\u2019t know why their favorite characters aren\u2019t in films together.\u201d<\/p>\n
