The added sugar line is required now, has been since 2021, but nobody\u2019s required to stop calling a product healthy just because that line is high.<\/p>\n<p>The<a data-ylk=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thecityceleb.com\/editorial\/the-hidden-sugar-in-foods-that-are-marketed-as-healthy\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">same handful of foods<\/a> keep tripping people up, according to registered dietitians who track this stuff. The binding agents tell a different story. Fiber is what slows sugar absorption in whole fruit.
