The comedy series created by Elizabeth Meriwether starred Zooey Deschanel as Jessica Day, a quirky teacher who moves into an L.A. loft with three men: Nick Miller (Jake Johnson), Schmidt (Greenfield), and Winston Bishop (Lamorne Morris).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tEarlier this year, Jake Johnson teased the New Girl reunion, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/03\/new-girl-reunion-jake-johnson-lamorne-morris-1236753726\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">joking with Deadline<\/a> that everyone was going to be in it besides Morris: \u201cBecause he got an Emmy and he thinks they\u2019re better than us.
