The Spurs will be part of the NBA\u2019s high-profile two-night opening doubleheader, starting their season on the road in Dallas on Oct. 22. Fans will get a first look at Wemby facing off against Cooper Flagg, one of the league\u2019s other rising stars. <\/p>\n
This matchup marks Wembanyama\u2019s return to action following last year\u2019s All-Star break, when he sidelined due to a blood clot. Tip-off at the American Airlines Center is set for 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
While the home opener details are still to come, Spurs fans can mark their calendars for the already announced Christmas Day matchup, which promises a marquee clash. The Spurs will travel to Oklahoma City to take on the reigning NBA champions, with tip-off slated for 1:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
The NBA season officially kicks off on Oct. 21, with the action back on NBC.
