{"id":796659,"date":"2026-08-01T03:28:08","date_gmt":"2026-08-01T03:28:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/796659\/"},"modified":"2026-08-01T03:28:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-01T03:28:08","slug":"daytime-broadcast-ratings-for-the-week-of-july-13-17-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/796659\/","title":{"rendered":"Daytime Broadcast Ratings for the Week of July 13-17, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Need To Know<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNBC News Daily\u201d attracted its second-largest audience of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Repeats of \u201cThe Price is Right\u201d continue to perform well, on par with originals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe View\u201d saw the largest week-to-week gain among Total Viewers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Repeat broadcasts of \u201cThe Price is Right\u201d and the fast-growing \u201cNBC News Daily\u201d were the biggest gainers year-over-year among Total Viewers during the week of July 13-17, 2026, which also marked the official countdown to the end of the 2025-2026 television season with just nine weeks remaining.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Retitled \u201cPrice 2\u201d and \u201cPrice 1,\u201d respectively, the long-running CBS game show concluded Season 54 during the week of June 29 \u2013 July 3, 2026, but its repeats continue to perform on par with originals, with the second half-hour averaging 4.443 million viewers, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.soapoperanetwork.com\/2026\/07\/daytime-broadcast-ratings-july-6-10-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">up +19,000 week-to-week<\/a> (vs. 4.424 million) and +666,000 year-over-year (vs. 3.777 million), the largest year-over-year gain across daytime broadcast. The first half-hour averaged 3.816 million viewers, up +28,000 week-to-week (vs. 3.788 million) and +511,000 year-over-year (vs. 3.305 million). In the key demos, the second half-hour is up +0.04 both week-to-week and year-over-year among Women 18-49 (0.43 rating vs. 0.39 rating), while the first half was up +0.02 week-to-week (0.35 rating vs. 0.33 rating) and even with its year-ago performance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Women 25-54, the second half-hour was up +0.01 week-to-week (0.59 rating vs. 0.58 rating) and up +0.04 year-over-year (0.59 rating vs. 0.55 rating). With its 0.50 rating, the first half-hour was flat week-to-week and compared to the same week last year.<\/p>\n<p>NBC News Daily Ratings<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With 1.627 million viewers tuning in, \u201cNBC News Daily\u201d attracted its second largest audience of the season, and one of its most watched weeks on record. The news program, which kicks off its fifth season in September, was just 23,000 viewers below the comparable performance of \u201cDays of our Lives\u201d during the same week in 2022 (1.627 million vs. 1.650 million), and saw a year-over-year gain of +540,000 viewers (1.627 million vs. 1.087 million) and one of few programs to see week-to-week growth, up +45,000 (1.627 million vs. 1.582 million). Just 31,000 viewers separated the \u201cNBC News Daily\u201d from \u201cBeyond the Gates\u201d (1.658 million), one of the smallest gaps ever between the two shows.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among Women 18-49, the program was up +0.02 week-to-week (0.17 rating vs. 0.15 rating), topping \u201cGeneral Hospital\u201d (0.16 rating), \u201cBeyond the Gates\u201d (0.15 rating) and \u201cGMA3\u201d (0.14 rating). Meanwhile, among Women 25-54 (0.24 rating), the broadcast tied \u201cGeneral Hospital\u201d and \u201cBeyond the Gates,\u201d and was up +0.03 year-over-year (0.24 rating vs. 0.21 rating).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With its best performance ever during the recently concluded second quarter, \u201cNBC News Daily\u201d has emerged as the fastest-growing daytime program this season across all key ratings categories.<\/p>\n<p>The Bold and the Beautiful Ratings<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the four network soaps, \u201cThe Bold and the Beautiful\u201d saw the smallest drop in Total Viewers, down 2,000 week-to-week (2.886 million vs. 2.888 million), had the largest year-over-year gain, up +296,000 (2.886 million vs. 2.590 million), and attracted more viewers this week than it had during the comparable week in 2024, up +263,000 (2.886 million vs. 2.623 million). Demographically, the half-hour soap was virtually on par with its performance one week earlier (0.22 rating vs. 0.23 rating), year-over-year (0.22 rating vs. 0.23) and compared to the same week in 2024 (0.22 rating vs. 0.23 rating).<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the Gates Ratings<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBeyond the Gates\u201d had the second smallest drop across the network soaps, down 3,000 week-to-week (1.658 million vs. 1.661 million), but marked a year-over-year gain of +139,000 (1.658 million vs. 1.519 million). Including the week of repeats, this marks the show\u2019s 19th consecutive week of year-over-year gains among Total Viewers with a streak that began during the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.soapoperanetwork.com\/2026\/03\/daytime-broadcast-ratings-march-9-13-2026\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.soapoperanetwork.com\/2026\/03\/daytime-broadcast-ratings-march-9-13-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">week of March 9-13, 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Young and the Restless Ratings<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Young and the Restless\u201d averaged more than three million viewers for the 25th consecutive week (a streak that began\u00a0during the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.soapoperanetwork.com\/2026\/02\/daytime-broadcast-ratings-january-26-30-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">week of January 26-30, 2026<\/a>), though it was down 32,000 viewers week-to-week (3.220 million vs. 3.252 million). Compared to the same week last year, the long-running soap opera was up +250,000 viewers (3.220 million vs. 2.970 million) and was also up +225,000 compared to the same week in 2024 (vs. 2.995 million), and up +84,000 over 2023 (vs. 3.136 million).<\/p>\n<p>General Hospital Ratings<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGeneral Hospital\u201d averaged more than two million viewers for the second consecutive week, though down 30,000 from its week-ago performance (2.022 vs. 2.052 million). The long-running series was the only soap to see gains among Women 25-54, up +0.02 week-to-week (0.24 rating vs. 0.22 rating).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Hulu, \u201cGeneral Hospital\u201d ranked among the top five shows every day on the streaming service\u2019s Top 15 Today TV chart during the week of July 12-18, 2026, according to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetvratingsguide.com\/2026\/07\/whats-trending-on-streaming-july-12.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The TV Ratings Guide<\/a>, placing first on Wednesday, July 15 and Thursday, July 16 with episodes that dropped after its ABC broadcast. The show ranked second on Tuesday, July 14 and Friday, July 17, and placed third on Saturday, July 18.
