(FOX Carolina) &#8211; As Shark Week comes to a close, Anderson County Emergency Management is sharing a message with Upstate residents who may be curious about what lurks beneath the surface of Lake Hartwell. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officials shared that while rare sightings of Bull Sharks have occurred far upstream in some coastal rivers, they are not naturally found in Lake Hartwell. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Lake Hartwell reservoir is strictly freshwater and does not support marine shark populations, officials said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officials shared that other finned fish, such as gars, can look like sharks at a glance.
