Three seasons later, KCP won his second NBA championship as a key member of the Denver Nuggets.

The 33-year-old didn’t enjoy that same team success last year, as the 25-57 Grizzlies struggled to a 13th-place finish in the 15-team Western Conference.

Caldwell-Pope is understandably happy at the prospect of competing for a championship again. The 76ers went to the second round of the playoffs last year and got better on paper by trading for Jaylen Brown and signing James to a team that has guards Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe and center Joel Embiid already aboard.

KCP should help the team remain a strong playoff contender off the bench. He’ll be one of the top reserves alongside should Anfernee Simons and Dean Wade.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who will sign a one-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers after agreeing to a buyout with…

[64
355,99
post-797967","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-nba","tag-nba","tag-sports
["GET
