The Eagles had a lot of questions surrounding their offensive line in the months following the end of the 2025 season, but Landon Dickerson spent some time with reporters following Day 3 of training camp practice and cleared up some rumors and give an update on his health.<\/p>\n
Dickerson said that he\u2019s doing good, and then quickly and succinctly denied reports from earlier in the offseason that he was considering retirement, noting he\u2019s not sure where that report even came from. He also very simply replied, \u201cNot really,\u201d when asked if he\u2019s got any concern about accumulating injuries over the course of his career.<\/p>\n
As for the stem cell treatment he received in Columbia this offseason \u2014 shortly after Cam Jurgens did the same \u2014, Dickerson said that he spoke to a lot of veteran guys around the league who used the treatment, and so far, he thinks it\u2019s helped him feel good entering training camp.<\/p>\n
He admitted that not having surgery this offseason has been nice, and shrugged off suggestions that he slimmed down at all \u2014 joking that it was no more than a big trip to the bathroom.<\/p>\n
\u201cNot having a surgery a week before the first game \u2014 [that\u2019s] good. Probably shouldn\u2019t have gone out there and played, but you live and learn and you do stupid stuff when you\u2019re young. So, I learned that mistake. Other than that, not having to get cut on is nice.\u201d<\/p>\n
As for the lesson he learned, Dickerson pointed to not coming back before his body is ready. He also confirmed that moving forward, he\u2019ll approach returning from injury differently, and not try to be the tough guy and push through it.<\/p>\n
