CBs Donte Kent, Joey Porter Jr. and DB Jalen Ramsey remain on PUP, and head coach Mike McCarthy provided an update on the three injured Steelers before today\u2019s practice.<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy said Kent was working with trainers yesterday, but didn\u2019t provide a timeline for the return of any of the three.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot today. We\u2019ll see how tomorrow and everything goes, but I don\u2019t really have anything to report on those guys,\u201d McCarthy said in his press conference <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelers.com\/video\/watch-coach-mike-mccarthy-media-availability-aug-1?utm_source=dlvr.it&amp;utm_medium=discord\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">via video posted to Steelers.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Ramsey was stretching and doing light jogging as practice went on, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Alex_Kozora\/status\/2083580770682020171?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">per Alex Kozora<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Jalen Ramsey doing some stretches and light jogging during practice as he works back from a spring knee injury. The Steelers have also been cautious this camp with DeShon Elliott, and he again sat out of team drills. That\u2019s led to more opportunities in the safety room for rookie Robert Spears-Jennings and second-year Sebastian Castro.<\/p>\n<p>Even though Savage didn\u2019t work in 11-on-11 today, he did go through individual drills today, so there shouldn\u2019t be too much concern as to his status.<\/p>\n<p>With the pads coming on Monday, there should be more bumps and bruises to report over the next week. However, without live tackling, the injury report should be lighter than it\u2019s been in past years. If the Steelers can remain as healthy as they are, that will be good news for them heading into Week 1.<\/p>\n<p>Today was the first day Ramsey did rehab work, including stretching and jogging. Omar Khan initially gave his timeline as a few weeks, but it\u2019s a good sign that he was getting some work in today.
