If you hear Rasmsus H\u00f8jgaard tell it, the key to shooting 61 is not thinking about it. <\/p>\n

The 25-year-old Dane tied the course record at Detroit Golf Club during his third round on Saturday \u2014 the latest player to hit that number in the Motor City this week.<\/p>\n

Peter Malnati shot his career-low mark<\/a> on Thursday, and was the first to get there this week. Cameron Young followed suit with a 9-under round of his own early Friday, propelled by a string of six straight birdies<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t know if I at any point knew it was going to be a special round. I just sort of tried to give myself chances,\u201d said H\u00f8jgaard, who will go off in the final grouping on Sunday as he pursues his first career PGA Tour win. <\/p>\n

\u201cI just felt like I played nicely all day and yeah, suddenly it was a 61.\u201d<\/p>\n

Like the rest of the field, H\u00f8jgaard\u2019s final round will be impacted by rain storms that are moving through the Detroit area overnight and into Sunday morning. The PGA Tour announced Saturday a shift to groupings<\/a> for the final round.<\/p>\n

He will be in the final threesome with Davis Riley and Michael Brennan. Riley carries a one shot lead <\/a>over the 24-year-old Brennan.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll have to see where I\u2019m at at the end of the day,\u201d H\u00f8jgaard said. \u201cIf I can play somewhat of what I did today, I like my chances tomorrow. But again, I\u2019m not too focused on that. Today, I stayed present, I didn\u2019t get ahead of myself; and, yeah, that\u2019s the game plan for tomorrow. Take one hole at a time.\u201d<\/p>\n
