Whether it\u2019s a wedding, corporate conference, birthday bash or black-tie gala, party hosts and guests looking to leave their companions slack-jawed are calling The Robot Studio<\/a> in Dallas to send in the high-energy mechanical charmers.<\/p>\n The fun-loving bots love to dance and party along with their human hosts. The Robot Studio<\/p>\n The price of a robot companion isn\u2019t exactly pocket change.<\/p>\n Renting one runs about $500 an hour, while buying one outright costs anywhere from $13,000 to $80,000, depending on the model.<\/p>\n Every booking comes with custom outfits and accessories tailored to the event, music and choreography if requested, plus a trained technician to keep everything running smoothly.<\/p>\n All the host has to provide is a standard power outlet.<\/p>\n \u201cThe bots are friendly and entertaining,\u201d owner Aaron Mehdizadeh told The Post. \u201cEveryone loves Stewie<\/a>, who\u2019s named after the character on \u2018Family Guy.\u2019 He\u2019s adorable and enthusiastic, but also kind of a wise guy.\u201d<\/p>\n John Travolta strikes the pose in the 1977 hit \u201cSaturday Night Fever\u201d the bot tries to imitate Moviestore\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n Stewie doesn\u2019t just stand around looking futuristic.<\/p>\n The three-foot-three bot greets guests, shakes hands, claps, dances, strikes action poses and responds to basic voice commands \u2014 quickly becoming the unofficial host where ever he rolls in.<\/p>\n The rest of the robotic cast has personalities too.<\/p>\n They\u2019re imported, then trained and programmed at The Robot Studio. They\u2019re everyone\u2019s best friend.\u201d<\/p>\n They\u2019re daring drivers too.<\/p>\n So far, the company has six bots, with another half-dozen on the way.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re designed to engage, entertain and amaze,\u201d he said. \u201cEveryone who\u2019s rented one says the robot made the event unforgettable.\u201d<\/p>\n The machines are surprisingly sturdy.<\/p>\n The Robot Studio founder Aaron Mehdizadeh launched the buzzy startup in the fall of 2025. Talking to them is like talking to the AI on your computer \u2014 only this one has a body.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you look into their eyes, it\u2019s clear they\u2019re \u2018thinking\u2019 and processing information.\u201d<\/p>\n The bot can be programmed to perform a limitless list of tasks.
