Beasley Media Group Augusta Operations Manager and country \u201cKicks 99\u201d WKXC-FM Program Director and on-air personality Tee Gentry has retired from his full-time roles after 30 years with the company.<\/p>\n
Gentry\u2019s final day was July 31. During his three decades with Beasley, he held leadership and programming positions in multiple markets, helping shape station strategies, develop talent and build relationships with listeners and local communities.<\/p>\n
In Augusta, Gentry provided operational leadership for Beasley\u2019s cluster while overseeing programming for \u201cKicks 99\u201d and maintaining an on-air presence at the country station.<\/p>\n
Gentry will remain involved with Beasley\u2019s Augusta operations as a consultant. His responsibilities will include advising on the market\u2019s programming strategy, as well as supporting the annual \u201cKicks 99 Guitar Pull\u201d and community relations initiatives.<\/p>\n
Chris O\u2019Kelley will serve as interim Program Director for \u201cKicks 99\u201d while continuing as the station\u2019s midday host. Cody will expand her on-air duties to include afternoon drive.<\/p>\n

Lurie added that Gentry\u2019s continued consulting role will allow him to share his experience while helping guide programming strategy, support the Guitar Pull and maintain community relationships during the transition.<\/p>\n
