pulled from the harbor<\/a>.<\/p>\nCity fire officials told WBAL-TV 11 News that rescue crews were called around 3 p.m. Sunday for a water rescue in the 1300 block of Lancaster Street in Harbor East.<\/p>\n
City police said James Britt, 37, of Baltimore, was pulled from the water and was taken to a hospital, where he died.<\/p>\n
Police said homicide detectives learned Britt and James Fitzsimmons, 36, of Parkville, were fighting when Fitzsimmons pushed Britt into the water as Britt retreated from Fitzsimmons.<\/p>\n
According to police charging documents obtained by WBAL-TV 11 News, officers recovered surveillance video that they said shows the two men fighting and Fitzsimmons pushing Britt into the water.<\/p>\n
Fitzsimmons was taken into custody and taken to Central Booking, where he was charged with second-degree murder. <\/p>\n
