Authorities seek tips after local teen reportedly picked up by unknown driver, last seen in Lancaster, Pa.<\/p>\n

Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a 17-year-old girl who was reportedly picked up by an unknown man in Westmoreland County over a week ago. <\/p>\n

Officials with the Westmoreland County DA’s office said 17-year-old Samantha Miscik was last seen leaving her home at 4:36 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026. She was reportedly picked up by an unknown man who was driving a green Subaru Outback. <\/p>\n

Samantha Miscik is described by police as 5 feet, 4 inches, weighing 125 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.<\/p>\n

She is said to struggle with mental health and is autistic. She also left her home without her glasses. <\/p>\n

Pennsylvania State Police and the DA’s office stated that no license plate was obtained. <\/p>\n

Authorities said the vehicle was last seen on Dillon Road in the Acme\/Donegal area, heading north. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe never met this person before. She has mental illness, and she\u2019s not taking her medication,\u201d said Ernest Miscik, the teen\u2019s father. \u201cAnd I\u2019m concerned about her welfare.\u201d <\/p>\n

Samantha Miscik was said to have been dropped off in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on July 24. She was spotted in Lancaster as recently as two days ago, state police said.<\/p>\n

According to Ernest Miscik, he was told by police that his daughter may have met the man online. He said she does not have her cellphone with her. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe is 17 years old, and he is 23,\u201d Ernest Miscik told Pittsburgh\u2019s Action News 4 Reporter Jordan Cioppa.<\/p>\n

Ernest Miscik traveled to Lancaster over the weekend to see what he could find out. <\/p>\n

\u201cI spoke to a lot of homeless out there. I gave out cigarettes to get information. And what I found was she was located at the library in Lancaster. She may be on the Red Rose Transit,\u201d Ernest Miscik said. <\/p>\n

The Red Rose Transit Authority is a public bus system that serves Lancaster City and Lancaster County, yet Ernest Miscik feared his daughter may be out of state and in danger. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe is incapable of taking care of herself. She’s been institutionalized. Been in many situations. I love her. She won’t be able to survive out on those streets,\u201d Ernest Miscik said. <\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Samantha Miscik disappeared this year. Ernest Miscik said in March, his daughter left Latrobe amid what he alleged was an abusive living situation. <\/p>\n

He said he found her under a bridge in Pittsburgh a few days later. <\/p>\n

Since then, Ernest Miscik said his daughter has lived in a happy home with her grandparents in Acme. <\/p>\n
