Pictures<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBirdman\u201d aside, if you\u2019re going to see an Alejandro Gonz\u00e1lez I\u00f1\u00e1rritu-directed film, you\u2019re in for a long one.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s expected to remain the case with \u201cDigger,\u201d the Tom Cruise-led dark comedy opening this Fall that appears to be the filmmaker\u2019s longest film to date.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CruiseCrave\/status\/2083485852546556108\" rel=\"nofollow\">Digger fan account on X<\/a>, citing exhibitor Odeon\u2019s official app, claims that the film\u2019s runtime clocks in at 160 minutes (2hr 40mins), longer than his previous films \u201cBardo\u201d (159m), \u201cThe Revenant\u201d (156m), \u201cAmores Perrod\u201d (156m), \u201cBiutiful\u201d (148m), and \u201cBabel\u201d (143m).<\/p>\n<p>The account adds that the long runtime fits with reports they have heard out of test screenings.  However, Warner Bros. Pictures has NOT officially confirmed the film\u2019s runtime at present.<\/p>\n<p>A new trailer for the film is tipped to be attached to copies of \u201cThe End of Oak Street\u201d when that film opens in cinemas next Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the film\u2019s budget remains a source of speculation with a Warner\u2019s spokesperson telling <a href=\"https:\/\/puck.news\/author\/matthew-belloni\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Puck News<\/a> that it comes in at $125 million, though the actual number is rumoured to be much higher.<\/p>\n<p>Sandra H\u00fcller, Jesse Plemons, John Goodman, Riz Ahmed, Michael Stuhlbarg, Sophie Wilde, and Emma D\u2019Arcy co-star in the film, which opens in cinemas on October 2nd.<\/p>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldofreel.com\/blog\/2026\/8\/3\/digger-runtime-2-hours-40-minutes\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">World of Reel<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Warner Bros.
