Epenesa landed in Philadelphia, he had a one-year deal worth up to $5 million in place with the Browns. Until he didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>The Browns <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/browns-decide-not-to-sign-a-j-epenesa-based-on-his-physical\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">pulled out of the agreement<\/a>, due to concerns regarding his physical.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Epenesa didn\u2019t want to say much about the Browns. He made it clear that he\u2019s happy to be with the Eagles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCleveland, you know, it was a weird situation,\u201d Epenesa told reporters. \u201cBut I don\u2019t necessarily want to go back and talk on that in just a weird sense but I\u2019ll just leave that in the past and just be happy that I\u2019m not a Brown and that I\u2019m an Eagle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Is Epenesa healthy now?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVery healthy,\u201d he said, \u201cfeeling good, and happy to be here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His contract with the Eagles pays much less than his contract with the Browns would have entailed \u2014 one year, $1.402 million.<\/p>\n<p>A second-round pick in 2020, Epenesa spent his first six seasons with the Bills.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Before Eagles defensive end A.J.
