Roseville police said they are tracking a bear that was sighted multiple times in a residential area. <\/p>\n

The bear was spotted Tuesday evening on Foothills Boulevard between Pleasant Grove Boulevard and Blue Oaks Boulevard. <\/p>\n

As of 8:50 a.m. Wednesday, Roseville police and California Department of Fish and Wildlife officers have yet to find it. There have been no reported injuries.<\/p>\n

This marked the second city with a bear sighting in the area. A bear was also spotted in Rocklin, the adjacent city, on Tuesday. Police said they believed the sightings in Roseville could be related, but they said they could not confirm that.<\/p>\n

Officials say that if you spot a bear, you should keep your distance. Residents are advised to keep their pets indoors or on a leash, as well as to secure any sources of food. <\/p>\n

If the bear poses an immediate threat, residents should call 911.<\/p>\n
