HOUSTON \u2014 One of Houston\u2019s newest sports and entertainment venues is set to host a major sporting event this fall.<\/p>\n
Fort Bend Epicenter \u2014 the $120 million, 230,000-square-foot sports and entertainment venue<\/a> in Rosenberg that opened in August 2023 \u2014 will host The Preview College Basketball Exhibition on Oct. 26. The event is a preseason, nonconference collegiate basketball doubleheader featuring the University of Houston<\/a> against Mississippi State University and Texas A&M University<\/a> versus Arizona State University<\/a>.<\/p>\n The inaugural event is hosted by Houston-based United Sports & Entertainment.<\/p>\n Conversations between Fort Bend Epicenter and United Sports & Entertainment began before the venue even opened, said India Johnson, director of business development and events at Fort Bend Epicenter.
