One of the most unique horror movies in the remainder of the year is sure to be Good Boy, which will tell a haunted house story from the perspective of a canine protagonist!<\/p>\n

Good Boy has been rated \u201cPG-13\u201d for \u201cterror, bloody images and strong language.\u201d<\/p>\n

The film releases in theaters from Independent Film Company on October 3, 2025.<\/p>\n

In Good Boy, \u201cOur canine hero, Indy, finds himself on a new adventure with his human owner\u2014and best friend\u2014Todd, leaving city life for a long-vacant family home in the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the start, two things are abundantly clear: Indy is wary of the creepy old house, and his affection for Todd is unwavering. After moving in, Indy is immediately vexed by empty corners, tracks an invisible presence only he can see, perceives phantasmagoric warnings from a long-dead dog, and is haunted by visions of the previous occupant\u2019s grim death.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Todd begins succumbing to the dark forces swirling around the house, Indy must battle a malevolence intent on dragging his beloved Todd into the afterlife.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ben Leonberg\u00a0makes his feature directorial debut from a script he co-wrote with\u00a0Alex Cannon. The film stars Indy, Ben Leonberg\u2019s real-life canine best friend, with the cast also including indie horror stalwart Larry Fessenden,\u00a0Shane Jensen, and\u00a0Arielle Friedman.<\/p>\n
