You may have noticed that I haven\u2019t written as much lately. Well, it\u2019s for a simple reason: I\u2019ve been on my annual summer vacation. So a big shout out to Kevin Broom and Greg Finberg for posting about the Mystics\u2019 performance over the last two and a half weeks.<\/p>\n
On to the Mystics themselves. Washington has gradually improved their record to 18-12. They have won six consecutive games, their last three before the All Star Break and their first three since the break ended. The Mystics are now sixth place in the league though that\u2019s because they have played fewer games than the 19-13 Dallas Wings and New York Liberty.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s something else that I find remarkable about this win streak. The Mystics have won all six of these games by single digits. As a matter of fact, the Mystics have won all but two of their games by single digits.<\/p>\n
Finally, the Mystics also have the WNBA\u2019s longest current win streak!<\/p>\n
The Mercury have lost three of their last four games, which include a 75-72 loss to the Connecticut Sun last night.
